Good practice description:

The Ukrainian House is a multifunctional space, situated in Tbilisi, address the needs of Ukrainian non-governmental organizations and volunteer groups committed to assisting Ukrainian beneficiaries in Georgia. The Ukrainian House serves as both a communal hub, an operational office space, and a referral point for various socio-economic services tailored for Ukrainian nationals.

In addition to its core mission, the Ukrainian House will be a focal point for cultural exchange. Its dynamic calendar of events will cater to both adults and children, fostering integration and enhancing the growth of Georgian-Ukrainian relation

 

Professional area of reference

Led by the Ukrainian community organization, the initiative is supported by Deutsche Botschaft Tiflis through UNDP Georgia. House goals is:

  1. Empower Ukrainian nationals residing in Georgia.
  2. Provide a versatile community hub for the organizations and volunteer groups serving Ukrainian beneficiaries in Georgia.
  3. Establish a vital referral centre for socio-economic services catering to Ukrainian nationals.
  4. Offer a vibrant venue for events promoting integration and strengthening Georgian-Ukrainian relations.

 

Input on project

As a Hub, Ukrainian House can serve as a good platform for selection of beneficiaries, also for hosting some events in the frame of the project.
